glass recycling reimagined

graphics showing how glass tableware is currently a linear product. It goes from raw materials, to production, distributed, used and then disposed of.

Traditional linear economies lead to unnecessary waste.

In the current linear economy of glass tableware, resources are extracted, transformed into glass products, and then eventually sent to landfill after use. This is not a sustainable product lifecycle. We were determined to develop a solution that would divert as many glass tableware products as possible from ending up in landfills.

Circularc now allows for glass to have a circular product lifecycle. Recycled glass gets mixed with raw materials, then it's produced, distributed, used, recollected and recycled all over again!

A circular economy for a more sustainable future.

Glass is infinitely recyclable, but a proper way to recycle glass tableware products did not exist. Although you can recycle glass bottles and jars in some curbside recycling programs, glass tableware products and used candle jars are rarely permitted.

As a passionate team at one of the largest glass tableware manufacturers in the world, we saw the need for a solution to this ongoing problem. This is how Circularc was born.

Through Circularc, we are able to reclaim used candle jars and other glass tableware products that are no longer usable, break them down, and recycle them into new products.

It is a meaningful initiative to our company, our partners, our community, and most importantly, our planet.
